Hello!
I'm Ms. Sarah.
In my role as a tutor, I have already assisted over 500 students on their learning journeys, and I would love to help you!

Bio
My tutoring career began in Memphis in 2017. I started as a staff member at a premier tutoring center, teaching students in one-on-one and group sessions both online and in-person. Since moving to Crockett County in 2021, I have continued to enjoy working with students as an independent tutor. Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of students on a broad range of skills. My youngest students have been four-year-olds preparing for kindergarten, while my oldest students have been adults seeking help with graduate school and job applications.

I look at tutoring as a partnership between myself and a student, with our shared goal being growth in the student's "hard" and "soft" academic skills. As a team, we work to advance the student's content knowledge as well as the study habits and critical thinking skills that will make the student a stronger, more independent learner.

In my day job, I work with elementary students as a reading interventionist. I love the reciprocity between my teaching and tutoring work--I am continually finding that teaching makes me a better tutor, and vice versa.
